I didn’t know this, but apparently there’s been interest in giving Ashley Dupre a record deal in the wake of the Eliot Spitzer debacle. The record industry is now awash in moral outrage over the prospect because, you know, think of the message it will to send to girls. Because, you know, the record industry would never dream of objectifying and exploiting women for profit. No, never.
