This week, the ever gracious Nezua and crew at The Unapologetic Mexican will be featuring Black perspectives on this historic, post-election world we have found ourselves in. Some of the best voices online are participating, so be sure to head over there everyday this week to read what folks are saying. Here’s the breakdown of posters for the week:
Monday – Moya
Tuesday – BlackAmazon
Wednesday – Jose
Thursday – Matt
Friday – Carmen and Elle
Saturday – Kevin (yes, that’s me!)
Sunday – Lex
Moya’s post is already up. So whatcha waiting for? Get over there, read the goodness, and leave some comments.
Much has gone on in the blog world while I’ve been busy going through, um, life changes if you will. Here’s a taste of things that are getting my groove on, in case you’re like me and always late to the party.
In the wake of the Voter Suppression Wiki, The Afrosphere Action Coalition is leading a National Black Voter Registration Push and the Proud Black Voter blog has state by state voter resignation links so that folks can spread the word on state registration deadlines.
If you haven’t seen it yet, check out Nezua’s DNC O8 Documentary. Good stuff.
