Ohhh, nice music. I posted my favorite Jackson Five song and it always did sound bittersweet, but now it makes me cry too.

I so remember that cartoon, and the Jackson 5, and I wasn’t even born for most of it. I was just 5 when Thriller came out, but it feels like I was because I feel like I knew him as an artist all my life. As far as my first memory.

I have The Wiz on DVD and will be watching it all day.

Yes, peace is a wonderful hope for him and his family right now. The worldwide attention to his death proves that despite everything, many many people will remember him for the good that he meant in their lives.

Love the post. I think if you were born in the 60s through the early 80s you grew up with Michael Jackson’s music punctuating many moments in your life. There we just moments where no one else could even get close to touching him as an artist.
