I saw some very disturbing pictures and signs on the huffington spot about tea bagging. They are comparing Obama to Hitler and all other manners of nonsense. He is only one man trying to take a mess that he was given and make it right. Whether we like him or hate him if we do not support him other countries will see us as very weak and divided.

also, cheap “vulgar” laughs like this, I find it life-affirming actually. I mean depending on how its done (see fuckwitaciousness at Bitch PhD for abject lesson on how -not- to do it). but I mean:

They -hate- being laughed at when they’re trying for Impressive! and it just makes them look like their collective ass is flapping in the wind. Which it is.

there is a delicate balance between pointing and laughing and just dismissing them, but really, after all that’s gone down these past eight + years and the garbage regularly pouring out of Fox and Friends and so on, I don’t think anyone’s really forgotten what the fuckers do with power. I mean I really hope not.

Honestly, while I still take the hate very seriously, I think mockery/laughter can be a terrific weapon against people like this. dispels the evil spirits, don’t you know. deflates the ego, etc. etc.
