Yesterday morning, while walking to the bus stop on my way to work, I found my ex-girlfriend’s cat, dead, on the side of the road. She’s obviously been my own cat for years as well. That this happens now, as my ex and I are still dealing with enough shit as it is (we still live together, btw), is just too much for the both of us. It was just two days ago that she jumped on my chest as I lay in bed, depressed, and she decided that my chest was just like a loaf of dough that needed kneading, and as much as it briefly annoyed me, I smiled at her and petted her and she purred happiness and we were both content. It was as it should be. And now she’s gone.
I love you Lula. May you rest in peace.
I’m so sorry and especially because it’s a horrible time for you (and your ex). The kid sends love as well! Take care sweetie and may your lovely feline friend be at peace.
