I can’t imagine how Barack Obama copes. I’ve always been impressed by his unwavering resolve and fortitude in the face of some of the most vile and vicious attacks I’ve ever seen in a political contest. And now, on the eve of the Election, his grandmother, Madelyn Dunham, has passed on.

This is so heartbreaking. I’m glad he got to see her one last time.

May you rest in peace, Madelyn Dunham, and peace and strength to the Obama family as they mourn the loss of a special woman.
