		<description>Aaron explained why I used to use it, and still catch myself ABOUT to use it--I always thought it loosely derived from straitlaced, as in boring, uptight, rigid, predictable.

But I&#039;ve since seen enough people object to it as one of those slurs that really isn&#039;t (because it still sets up het/cis as the norm--straight vs crooked, as you say) that I won&#039;t use it.
