Old School Friday - Fight Songs For Obama
Happy Old School Friday, everybody! This week’s theme is Fight Songs for your political candidate. While thinking about this theme, it occurred to me that I’ve never actually came out in support of a candidate for President, preferring instead to just give my opinions–sometimes in favor, sometimes not. And yes, I did seriously consider voting for Cynthia McKinney for quite some time; but now, here we are in the eleventh hour, and I will flat out say that Barack Obama is, indeed, what we need right now.
I was thinking about the debates and how, after McCain would say something stupid or just plain wrong, Obama would look down and do his “I can’t believe this fool just said this shit” laugh. I imagine if life were a Musical, Obama would’ve then looked up at McCain and responded like this:

And then on Election Day, folks will hit to the streets and sing and dance in unison to:
