Old School Friday - Duets
It’s Old School Friday Y’all, and this weeks theme is “Duets.” As always, much love to all the other OSF participants. Let’s do this.

Really, it get’s no better than this. This is beauty incarnate. This is poetry. This is everything that music was meant to be and ever could be. “Summertime,” by Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong.
How can I do an Old School Friday Duets edition and not throw this at you? Elton John and Kiki Dee doing “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart.”

I think it’s safe to say that Marvin & Tammi are the Queen and King of duets. I am surprised that Ashford and Simpson were no where to be found.
Summertime is one of my husband’s favorite songs, it just gets to him.
I love Elton John, and didn’t know Kiki Dee was on this track with him. I don’t even know who she is and I have heard this song time and time again before…
