My oldest child is sick with fear. We had just told him about Bernie have the same disease as mommy as way to reassure him that I was going to be okay and now this morning we awoke to find out that he had died. He died far too soon. He might have been able to fight of the pneumonia had the sarcoid not done such a terrible job on him to begin with. This is a disease that does not get attention and I am sure it is because it primarily attacks blacks. Rest in peace Bernie. I have Sarcoidosis as well and Bernies passing hit me very, very hard.
