No, I haven’t gone away. Shit came down hard this week and blogging has been the last thing on my mind. Yes, I have opinions on all of the mess that has occurred over the last week or two. I don’t see the point in commenting, though, because every blogger in the world has commented on this stuff and there is little that I could add to the conversation.
Frankly, I’m tired and not in the mood.
So instead, you get a cool vid on the beginnings of Hip Hop, and the woman that was there to photograph it, Martha Cooper. Thanks to my inbox.

I feel like that a fair amount lately myself.
Also wanted to say - I hope whatever’s going on with you gets easier/better asap, and all kidding aside, not because it interferes with your bloggingness. Just sending good thoughts your way is all.
