I felt speechless, too, about Mychal Bell's re-incarceration until the verdict in the Martin Lee Anderson case and then I knew what needed to be said. Nice round-up of stuff here, Kevin.

Add Martin Lee Anderson and yet another all-white jury. The Anderson familyâ€™s lawyer, Benjamin Crump, implied that race was the deciding issue in the case, in which a black teenager died after being manhandled by a group of guards that included whites, blacks and one Asian American. â€œYou kill a dog, you go to jail. You kill a little black boy and nothing happens,â€ Crump said.

We don’t know that, Yobachi, because it’s against all hate crimes against blacks, including Megan Williams, Jena Six, nooses, plus is in the North, perhaps closer to many who couldn’t make the Louisiana rally.

You think it will? I seriously doubt it. The chances of people getting back on buses again so soon to take a cross country trip for a protest is unlikely.

For instance, I have no plans of going. If I lived with in a couple of hours I would, and I’ll support it from home; but I have no intentions of trying to go long distance to this one too. Nor have I heard anything from the coalition of people that I worked with to organize 10 buses from Nashille, about organize to go to this. That’s how most people ended up in Jena, local organizing.

There are however two chances I see for it to maybe be as big. People who missed Jena regretting they didn’t go so now they make a push to go this one. And the fact that interst in the Jena march exploded in the last two to three weeks. But again, it was local organize that made the interest manifest into buses, and most of the people who did the organizing went to Jena; so I doubt they’re eager to get back on buses again, and hence aren’t that eager to organize it.
