The odd thing about that picture, and I mean besides the obvious, is that it’s clearly not a life-model of the product, simply a digital sketch. Have they not gone into production? Does it really exist? Did all professional photographers simply refuse to have anything to do with it?

great post. very witty, and very on point. given the prices of these “high end” kitchenware – racist in design or not, though i’m inclined to think the former – it’s very likely that the people who can and tend to purchase these ridiculous products are also those who look nothing like them. but what do i know?
